Salute To Design & Construction 2007
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

For the twenty-third consecutive year design and construction associations in Springfield are sponsoring the “Salute to Design & Construction,” recognizing construction as the fourth largest contributor to our area’s economic base. As in the past, “Salute 2007” features community education and participation activities, including presentations to area schools on career opportunities in our industry. The presentations are oriented to students who are beginning to think seriously about their futures.

The sponsors of “Salute 2007” will make presentation teams available to area schools the two weeks of October 22 through November 1. Each team consists of four speakers who will discuss the roles of General Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers and Design Professionals in the construction industry. We will again hand out imprinted pencils and d-clamps this year.

We need volunteer speakers. Please complete the form below if you can participate as soon as possible. Preferences will be considered. If time or date is more important than location, leave the school preference line blank. If you would like to be teamed with somebody in particular, indicate the name, or put your own team together. Make as many copies as needed for all those interested.
